While doing experiment on different extinct art forms , we were moved by one of the oldest art form which very few have heard of. It originated nearly in 19th century in the heart of Calcutta when few expert scroll painters known as patuas started practicing the art form near kalighat Temple and thus gain it's name Kalighat pattachitra. The painting depicts mythological stories of Hindu god, goddess and every day life. Our Bibi is from one of those experimental pieces which has been inspired from the fascinating composition of Kalighat pattachitra.
